Naz continues to work on projects she loves. Among her recent favorites are the origination of the role of Queen Rita in Ben Budick, Steve Mackes and Dave Ogrin's camp new musical WILD WOMEN OF PLANET WONGO, at the University of Michigan Festival of New Works, Aldonza in MAN OF LA MANCHA at the Performance Network, and three very special roles at the amazing Music Theatre of Wichita, Yenta in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Mama Brice in FUNNY GIRL (with the remarkable Stephanie J. Block), the delightfully conniving Queen Aggravain in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS.

Most recently, Naz created the role of Sarah in the world premiere production of Kitty Dubin's play COMING OF AGE, at the Jet Theatre.

No stranger to the recording studio, having worked with a variety of Broadway veterans on vocal compilations for causes such as AIDS research, Naz has blessed us with her first solo CD, the newly released IF THE WAITING TAKES YEARS. This is a reflection of Naz's journey, and she takes the listener on it with her, sharing every detail and every feeling along the way. The music is presented in what has become almost a lost art — purely acoustic, a single voice and a single piano, no frills, no pretensions. Joined by one of the best Broadway pianists/ arrangers in the business, Jerry DePuit, Naz brings a refreshing candor and openness to material, some of which will be familiar to the listener, and others of which may be entirely new. She feels blessed to be able to share her gift with the world.
